Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Secretary (CS) on Sunday informed that since February 2021, out of 375 deaths in the State, only two deaths occurred after full vaccination, of which, one death was within 2 weeks of the second dose.

Vouching for the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine, the CS tweeted, “…This means 99.7 % of deaths were not fully vaccinated. More proof that vaccination works…” and urged everyone to get vaccinated and to encourage others as well.

It may be mentioned that as of July 11, Nagaland has administered 5,05,319 eligible beneficiaries with the first dose and 88,841 with second dose of COVID-19 vaccines for a combined total of 5,94,160.
