Successful F&B trainees with officials, trainers, and members of Team Metamorphosis during the valedictory and farewell programme held at the Wokha Sodexo Skill Training Center on June 13.

WOKHA, JUNE 15 (MExN): Team Metamorphosis, Wokha, held a valedictory-cum-farewell function on June 13 for its Food & Beverage (F&B) trainees under the Sodexo Hotel Management Skill Development Programme. The event marked the culmination of a training course conducted at the Wokha Sodexo Skill Training Center.
The programme, which began on March 22, trained a first batch of 45 participants over a span of more than 70 days. A second batch, also comprising 45 trainees, was discontinued after 21 days due to emergency changes implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). However, through a special initiative by Sodexo India, 13 trainees have been placed for On-the-Job Training (OJT) in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Gracing the occasion on behalf of Wokha Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar, IAS, EAC Er. Sangmou Khiamniungan congratulated the successful trainees. He encouraged them to adapt to the culture of their new work environments and apply the knowledge and skills they had acquired. Addressing the growing issue of unemployment, he noted the role of such skill development programmes in tackling social issues and appreciated the 100% placement record of the training.
Representing the Chairman of Tchuyiro Colony Council, Benthungo Ngullie advised the outgoing trainees to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and humility, earning recognition through their conduct and competence.
Orenpomo Humtsoe from the District Planning Office also extended his congratulations, commending Team Metamorphosis for its committed work toward social upliftment.
The programme included scripture reading and prayer by Zubenthung Ngullie, Senior Pastor of Police Baptist Church, Wokha. Dr. Thungdemo Kyong, President of Team Metamorphosis, acknowledged the support of the Colony Council, government agencies, and various team members. He highlighted the dedication of trainers Bongchai Konyak and Yenronthung Odyuo, the digital services managed by MIS Manager Noyongbeni Yanthan, and the contributions of Chef Lobilo Odyuo and others.
The event was chaired by Achanbeni Kikon, Secretary General of the Team. The welcome address was delivered by HR Manager Thungchibemo Lotha, while J. Rensathung Lotha gave the vote of thanks. Limala Ngullie and Wopansao Kikon from the Police Baptist Church led opening and closing prayers respectively.
The programme was sponsored by Sodexo under the National Skill Development Programme (NSDC), Government of India. Final assessment of the trainees was carried out by NSDC assessor Neil Sarma at the Wokha center.
