Various schemes highlighted at Chunklikha Mela

Kohima, January 30 (MExN): A financial inclusion mela organised by Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) BMMU Chunlikha was conducted at Chunlikha ground on January 27. The camp had resource persons from SBI, Social Welfare Department and Health & Family Welfare.
Samuel Khrawbok Sawian, BM, SBI Tseminyu, highlighted on Bank Linkages and Social Security Schemes and the One Time Settlement Schemes for KCC defaulters.
Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana was briefed to the participants by Ayhunlo Kent, Supervisor ICDS Tseminyu. Under the scheme, the beneficiary needs to provide MCP and Aadhar Card of the pregnant woman and the husband to avail the benefits which is by mode of Direct Transfer Payment on three installments basis.
Kenyuyhun Tep, Technician PHC Chunlikha explained on Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. He informed the participants the benefit of the scheme and mentioned the hospitals and health facilities where such opportunities can be availed. PHC Chunlikha is also one of the health facilities which roll out the scheme to the beneficiaries.
BDO Chunlikha Shuyhunle Nyenthong in her speech thanked the various departments for their active participation and highlighted the significance of such convergence activity even in the days to come for better development, progress and transparency.
Sonile Thyug shared the activities of NSRLM under Chunlikha Block wherein a total of 99 SHGs from 13 villages were formed covering 847 households. She highlighted the activities of the Livelihood Intervention in the Block.
