Kohima, June 25 (DIPR): The Sunday School Department of Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church is organizing a vacation bible school (VBS) for the community children in Kohima Town from June 24 to 26 at its church premises.
The programme began with words of encouragement from Pastor N. Silubo Zeliang, who encouraged the children to dedicate their lives for Jesus, obey their parents and teachers while in classes so that they would learn and be blessed by the Lord. The pastor also gave a challenging message to the younger generation to make sacrifices for the welfare of the community as and when their service or help is required by the people. He further urged the children to form a habit of respecting the elderly people and to serve them.
The Sunday School Superintendent, Telaknaro Newmai expressed gratitude to the pastor and his team for their contribution towards the children ministry in order to mould the upcoming generation with a hope to see them as leaders of tomorrow. She also requested all the responsible parents to send their children to the Vacation Bible School.
Tingwangchun (M.Th.) and Paudunlung (M.Div.) will be the main speakers during the devotional services.
