
Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): Eight Village Council members from Tuli Area and Nagaland Pulp & Paper Company Ltd (NPPC) Workers Union office bearers jointly meet several central union ministers, including Minister Home (MoS) Kiren Rijiju, at New Delhi on November 15 and 16 and apprised them about the pathetic condition of NPCC.
The Village Council team presented all necessary documents related to the Mill and requested to look into the matter seriously at the earliest and also to deploy the Managing Director (MD), informed a press note from BJP Mandal President, 21 Tuli Constituency Imsu N. Jamir, who ‘led’ the team.
Rijiju assured that from their ends they will take the matter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it added. The NPCC workers’ union also apprised the Minister on nonpayment of salary for the last 2-3 month to the employees, it said.
The mandal president on behalf of the Nagaland State BJP Unit supplemented them and requested all the ministers to give serious attention their demand as the “Mill is not only particularly for Mokokchung District but for entire Nagaland,” it added.
