Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): The Dimapur District VDB Secretaries’ Association in its annual general meeting held on March 31 at the residence of its outgoing banker, Signal Basti constituted a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2011-2016. Tohoshe Awomi was unanimously selected by the house as president with Yehoto Zhimo and Vikato Wotsa as vice presidents, Trilongse Sangtam as general secretary, Medove Koza as finance secretary, Kughato Awomi as banker, Atoki Zhimo as joint secretary and Tali Pongen and Zhehoshe Yeptho as advisors.
All Village Development Block Secretaries of villages under the district attended the annual session and resolved to work together for all round development of rural areas of the district. The four development blocks – Dhansiripar, Kuhuboto Medziphema and Niuland represents Dimapur district at the state level. Newly selected president has informed all concerned to contact the new office bearers for any correspondence with the association.
