Dimapur, August 11 (MExN): Altogether around 25 people representing leaders and members from 8 VDPO units participated at the capacity building training held today at Changtongya Town.
The training for VDPO’s (Village Disable People’s Organization) was organised by Grace Society’s CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) programme, a press note from the society informed.
The main objective of the event was to create awareness among Differently Abled Person about different rights available for them to stand for them, it said.
It was also initiated ot create awareness about various opportunities to earn their livelihood as well economic empowerment and independence, it added.
