DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 17 (MExN): Vegetation clearance for 132kV and 66kV transmission lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung is scheduled from October 23-November 18.
During these periods, there will be total shutdown of power from 8 AM to 4 PM daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of works. This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply, a press release issued by Er Hekaito Assumi, Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung informed on Tuesday.
In this regard, the department has appealed to all the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
