Naga wrestler Vekhonielü Cürhah won Bronze under 56 kg category belt wrestling at the Asian Belt Wrestling Championships 2023 on May 24.
Through Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), she represented Indian contingent under All India Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Federation (AITWPF).
The championship took place under aegis of United World Wrestling (UWW) at Uzbekistan. NWA president Dr. Hiabe Zeliang congratulated Cürhah for bringing laurels to Nagaland state and the country. Meanwhile, Khrievotuo Sekhose attended the UWW Belt Wrestling Referee Course 2023.
