Funeral service of late Vekuto Vero in Phek town on July 15.
Kohima, July 15 (MExN): Vekuto Vero, (NCS), Under Secretary, Information Technology & Communication department, Government of Nagaland who passed away on July 14 in Kohima, was laid to rest at Phek town on July 15.
Many people turned up at the funeral service at Hebron 1 Colony and paid their respect to the departed soul.
Phek Deputy Commissioner, Razouvolie Dozo, official from Chakhesang Gazetted Officers Association and others spoke at the funeral service.
In a condolence message, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, NPF Legislature Party leader and co-chairman UDA described late Vekuto Vero as a sincere and dedicated officer, adding that his demise was a huge lost to the Chakhesang community. “He was a very humble and dedicated officer. In his passing away, the Chakhesang Gazetted Officers Association and the community has lost a promising upcoming leader, creating an irreplaceable vacuum,” stated GGOA president Vekhosa Kotso in a condolence message.
