Mokokchung, January 28 (DIPR): District level conference on communitization for Health Centre Management Committee (HCMC), Village Health Committee (VHC) and Urban Health Committee (UHC) of Mokokchung district was held at Town Hall Mokokchung on January 28 with Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi as the chief guest.
The first Prize comprising cash award of `10,000 along with certificate was bagged by Aliba Village sub centre while the second and third went to Sungratsu and Town Health centers with cash award of ` 7,000 and ` 5,000 and certificates respectively.
Lithrongla Chishi in her speech urged upon the health workers to understand their responsibilities to ensure that health care facilities reached the needy people for whom they are committed to work for. She also exhorted them to sincerely attend the conference to solve obstacle on health issues. During the conference the Deputy Commissioner gave away the Cash Award Certificate to the three outstanding performing Sub health centers in the district.
The conference chaired by Deputy Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung, Dr. S.S Akaba, who is also the District Nodal Officer, was attended by high officials from Health and Family Welfare department, District Administration and members of HCMC, VHC and UHC.
