A video on awareness on voluntary blood donation was released today at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare (DoH&FW), Kohima.
This video was produced by Nagaland Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC) and Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Kohima and Dreamz Unlimited.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr E Motsuthung Patton, Principal Director, DoH&FW, Nagaland, was optimistic that the video will fetch a huge impact and create more awareness to the people on blood donation in the state. He was also hopeful that more people will come forward for blood donation.
Dr Khriezoutuo Paphino, Director, NBTC also spoke on the occasion and thanked the Voluntary Blood Donors Association and Dreamz Unlimited for making this video possible.
Dr Ahu Sekhose, Project Director, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, Bendang Imsong, chairman, VBDAK and Burakum, Executive Member, VBDAK also spoke at the launching programme. Dr Akuo Sorhie, Director (Health), DoH&FW was also present at the programme.
