Vijay Hazare Trophy: Nagaland lose to Uttarakhand

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 8 (MExN): Nagaland lost to Uttarakhand today by 7 wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019.


Nagaland won the toss and elected to bat first managing to put up 174 runs before being bowled out in 44.5 overs.  


Guest player and former India international Stuart Binny scored 107 runs for the Nagaland team. However, the team was unable to put up a formidable total, with the next two highest scorers—Aosashi and Tahmeed—managing to put up only 15 and 11 runs respectively. 


Uttarakhad meanwhile managed to score 176 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 36.2 overs. Avneesh Sudha with 77 runs and Tanmay Srivastava with 54 runs were the highest scorers.
