Director, ‘We for Women’, Nagaland, Vikali A Zhimomi, received Award of Excellence at the ‘Miss India Quintessential 2020 and Award of Excellence’ organized by G-Town Magazine in Association with BluePixel Media.
Vikali was also one of the seven jury members of the Miss India Quintessential 2020 beauty pageant held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in the national capital on February 24.
The other jury members included Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba, Miss Tourism World Asia 2019 Yuki Phams and industrialist Saini Singh.
Talking to the Morung Express from Delhi, Vikali said the “event aims to empower women and make them believe in themselves, become successful and get the same amount of recognition as their male counterparts are getting in this Industry.”
She also said Miss India Quintessential 2020 aims to provide lifetime opportunities to all its contestants, help them in grooming and educating them about industry standards and ethics to help them make a professional career in modeling and acting.
Further Vikali informed that in her interaction with Yuki Phams (Miss Tourism World Asia 2019), the latter expressed keen desire to come to Nagaland and work for women empowerment and children.
