Vikehielie Suohu emerged as the Champion of the 2nd Darts Masters 2020 organised by Fun Tree Crew (FTC) at Vivid Lounge, Kohima on December 12. Altogether, 24 participants from Kohima and Dimapur participated in the event.
Vikehielie Suohu walked away with Rs 20,000, a trophy and certificate. The runner-up Lijathung Humtsoe pocketed Rs 10000 with trophy and a certificate. Neiketou Suohu and Burakum Ao were awarded Joint 3rd with cash, trophies and certificates.
The best leg was awarded to Vikehelie Suohu while the highest scorer was Killen Jamir. The highest check out was awarded to Neiketou Suohu. Reagan Sandham was declared as the most promising player while the Golden Darts Award was awarded to Lanu Pongen.
Yashilemba Longkumer, the first player to register online for the FTC 2nd Darts Masters 2020 was given a special gift hamper worth Rs 2000.
The FTC meanwhile encouraged young Nagas to take up the sport of darts which is taking players to national and international events.
“It is a good sport which gives relaxation and mental exercise. It has got lots of potentials as we have seen two of our own Naga darters who have been exposed to national events. So, if this sport is taken up at young age there is more scope in the future,” FTC official stated.
The FTC thanked Angh Khülap, M/S. Vipe Enterprise, Kevihetuo Solo, Peter Rutsa, Thaitsung Amer, Chitho Nyusou, Recie Mero, S.A. Engo, Nchumthung Odyuo, Audio Garage, Mesa Tyre Workshop, Basement Empire, Tech Build, MK Construction and Suppliers, Seyiekhriezo Suohu, Gear Heads, Auto Car Clinic, Lima Longchar, VKS Darts, Lanu Pongen, LIFEPRO, Touch Enterprise, 360 Sorhie Enterprise, Zumvü Printex, Vivid Lounge, N.M Cable, Naga Darts, Athe Rhi, Moa Longkumer of VisualCraft and the Media Fraternity for the success of the event.
It also thanked all the individuals who took their time to promote the event by making promotional videos.
