Wokha, January 23 (MExN): Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was held at the local ground, Bhandari on January 23.
As per a DIPR report, ADC Bhandari, Longdiba L Sangtam, NCS who “jointly conducted” the Yatra with Bhandari Town Council said that Centrally Sponsored Schemes and flagship programmes are for the benefit of the citizens. ‘The success of it does not solely depend on the government and the different departments engaged, but also the public and encouraged them to avail opportunities and facilities,’ the ADC stated.
Officers from several departments facilitated the public to avail the different schemes and programmes.
Medical team from CHC Bhandari carried out free medical check-up. Recorded messages and video speeches of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with the theme “Modi Sarkar ki Guarantee” was also played and screened from the Yatra Van, to impart awareness on various schemes and programmes, and to shed light on the implementations of various visionary schemes and projects that have so far benefited the people.
