Mon, December 13 (MExN): Advisor for Land Resource CL John inaugurated the newly recognised Chenloisho Longkhao village on December 12.
On the occasion, he took a salute from the Village Guards and unveiled the village Monolith, according to a DIPR report. The Advisor thanked the Nagaland Government led by the Chief Minister for achieving the long awaited dream of the people of Chenloisho Longkhao village and said that it was a historical day for the people.
He urged the citizens of the newly recognised village to live in peace and respect their neighbouring villages as well as their parent village. He also said peoples’ contribution and cooperation is necessary for village growth and development rather than depending only on the Government departments.
The Advisor further urged the youngsters to avoid indulging in substances that are harmful to the society. He encouraged them to cultivate hard work, sincerity, and honesty in the society and wished for more understanding and blessings for this new village.
Short speeches were delivered by Yamao on behalf of RD Mon, T Wangmao, Angh, Chenloisho, Yemwang, Angh, Chenmoho, Yayem, President of Konyak Union, Chen Unit.
On the same day, the Advisor also inaugurated a newly upgraded Primary Health Centre at Chenloisho and newly created Health Sub-Centre at Chenloisho Wangto village.
As the special guest, he called upon the villagers, civil societies, church members, and citizens to cooperate with the medical staff to work efficiently. He also said that the Church and the Health centre are connected, as the Church is a spiritual healing centre and health centre is a physical healing centre. He also urged the staff to work honestly and set a good footprint in such a far and remote place.
According to the DIPR, Dr Neiphruzo, SMO, Aboi spoke on behalf of the Health and Family Welfare Department and said that community participation is very important in the smooth functioning of the health centre. He further encouraged the citizens to participate in the efforts of the department.
