Wokha, June 29 (DIPR): Five days village level training on Community First Responder (CFR) organized by Wokha District Disaster Management Authority (WDDMA) in collaboration with CD & HG and SDRF with support from NSDMA concluded on June 23.
Seven ToTs and two SDRF personnel covered six villages in Wokha Sadar, namely Yikhum Village, Englan Village, Old Riphyim (training venue), New Riphyim, Changsu Old and Changsu New. Ten CFR volunteers from each village and 60 CFR volunteers completed the village level training.
Meanwhile, six ToTs and two SDRF personnel covered five villages in Bhandari sub-division, namely Bhandari Town (training venue), Bhandari Village, Merapani, Yimparasa Village and Lio-Longchum. Here, ten CFR volunteers from each village and 50 CFR volunteers completed the training.
Further, five villages in Ralan sub-division – Yanpha (training venue), Old Ralan, Ronsuyan, Chandalashung B, and Chandalashung New – were also covered by the training. Four ToTs and two SDRF personnel conducted the training, which was completed by ten CFR volunteers from each village and 50 CFR volunteers.
Three ToTs and three SDRF personnel covered five villages in Sanis subdivision, namely Sanis Village (venue), Tsopo Village, Chudi Village, Sunglup Village and Yonchucho. Ten CFR volunteers from each village and 50 CFR volunteers completed the training.
Altogether, 210 Community First Responders from the four 4 sub-divisions were trained.
