Villagers receive tree saplings distributed by College of Veterinary Sciences & AH, Jalukie.
Jalukie, May 22 (MExN): The College of Veterinary Sciences & AH, Jalukie distributed tree saplings, vegetable seeds and small kitchen agriculture tools to Jalukieram, New Chalkot and Dukewram villages on May 22 under “Development of Model Vegetables and fruits villages in NEH Region” an ICAR project of Central Agricultural University, Imphal.
A press release issued by the Dr Capt G Dhanan Jaya Rao, Dean of the college stated that representatives of the villages received the tree saplings following the COVID-19 protocol.
A short training for the benefit of the farmers was conducted by Dr Patu Zeliang and Dr James Kikon on ‘The vegetable plants.’
Dr Rao also informed that three thousand orange plants will be distributed at Benreu and Poilwa villages on May 23.
