
CHÜMOUKEDIMA, JULY 13 (MExN): The 1st Late Viloto S Chishi Shuffle Tournament, organised by Screw Back Club, Chümoukedima, commenced on Saturday in honour of Late Viloto S Chishi, Armed Branch Inspector, Nagaland Police.
A total of 28 players from across Nagaland participated in the event. Former All Nagaland Snooker Tournament champion Kihevi emerged as the winner, receiving a trophy, gift hamper, and a cash prize of Rs 20,000.
Hiketo Zhimo secured the first runners-up position, winning a trophy and Rs 10,000, while Toto Assumi was declared second runner-up with a cash prize of Rs 5000, organisers said. The tournament aimed to honour the late officer’s memory and promote cue sports in the state, they added.
