KOHIMA, July 30 (NEPS): Vimetsul Tase of Nagaland Police has been selected by the Sepaktakraw Federation of India (SFI) to be part of the strong Indian Men Sepaktakraw Team to represent India in the forthcoming “Chief Minister Challenge Trophy International Sepaktakraw Championship” to be held from August 3 to 6 at Miri Indoor Stadium, Sarawak, Malaysia. Tase is currently attached to the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly as PSO. Earlier, he was attached to Chief Minister TR Zeliang from June 3, 2014 to May 20, 2015 as Ring Round Commander and also Pilot Commander. Hailing from Jakhama Village, Tase is the seventh child of 12 children (9 boys and 3 girls) of Eyotso Tase. He has also won over two dozen Junior National and Senior National Sepaktakraw Tournaments held in various parts of the country. The Indian Men Sepaktakraw Team will depart on August 1 from New Delhi for Malaysia and return on August 8.
