Vimhalie kicks off campaign for ULB elections 2024

The declaration of candidate cum campaign kick-off programme of Vimhalie Pienyu, an Independent candidate from Ward 5-Kitsubozou for ULB election to Kohima Municipal Council took place today.

Speaking at the programme, MLA Kevipodi Sophie from 14th Southern Angami -1 A/C said that there are numerous developmental packages under ULBs especially in healthcare, water supply, sanitation, education sector to uplift the colony.

He made an appeal to the colony people to vote for Vimhalie for the interest and welfare of the colony.

Vimhalie said that he is well aware of the colony state of affairs which has been neglected in the developmental sector. I have a vision to develop the colony, he said.

Earlier, Vimhalie’s candidature declaration was made by Keneizelie Chielie, Convenor, Core-Committee while C. Theyo, chief agent of the candidate delivered a short message.
The programme was chaired by Ruokuohetuo Mechulho while vote of thanks was proposed by Vekhotso Rose.
