The 6th wicket partnership between wicket-keeper batsman Bharali (50 not out) and Bharat (36 not out), however, took Meghalaya team to a defendable  total of 165/5.

In reply, Nagaland lost both opening batsman early as Neizekho  and Mughavi Sumi were scalped by Waldo for 3 and 4 runs respectively.

However, wicket-keeper Batsman Yugandhar (46 not out) and Thejasilie Thejasilie Savino (24 runs) steadied the innings before the latter was dismissed by Santhosh.

Nripen chipped in valuable 16 runs before he was adjudged leg-before by Gavineal Marpna.
