Visienyü is Kiruphema wrestling champion

Veteran wrestler and former Naga Wrestlemania lightweight champion, Megovizo Visienyü today emerged as the champion of 45th Kiruphema wrestling championship 2020, held at Kiruphema Basa.

Mhaneivito Kruneilie bagged the second position while Megotsolie Suohumvü and Vichasa Suohumvü stood 3rd and 4th position respectively.

In junior category, Kedovilhou Kruneilie emerged the champion while Vineikhozo Mor came in second, Kevimedo Zhünyü came in third and Rokovisie Shosahie was placed fourth.

Altogether, 29 wrestlers participated at the championship. Kevichatha Suohumvü, Pelhouvisie Hozoyie, Metsilie Suohumvü and Thepfülhouto Zenyü-u jointly sponsored prizes for the winners.

Earlier, Rovilato Mor, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Work & Housing, Nagaland graced the occasion as the special guest.

The meet was organized by the Kiruphema Youth Organization.
