Chennai, October 26 (MExN): Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced that applications are now open for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026, inviting aspiring engineers to apply for admission to its flagship undergraduate engineering programs.
Students can apply online through the official website, www.viteee.vit.ac.in, for admission to various B.Tech programmes offered across VIT’s campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati, and Bhopal.
According to VIT, VITEEE 2026 will be conducted in a single phase from April 28 to May 3, 2026. The entrance examination will be held in 134 test cities across India and at 9 international test centres, providing candidates the option to select their preferred location based on their place of study or native region.
The institute stated that VIT continues to remain one of India’s most sought-after destinations for engineering education, offering “world-class infrastructure, strong industry linkages, and excellent placement opportunities” to its students.
