VLO office at Seluophe

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): Under the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM), a Village Level Organization (VLO) office has been inaugurated at Seluophe village by Kesonyu Yhome, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur as chief guest.

  Yhome urged Seluophe community to take its own initiative for developing the village into a model village. “When villagers don’t fully involve and participate, all developmental works from government alone may prove to be futile. Therefore, people’s participation is indispensable,” the DC stated. He also stressed that one should stop running after government jobs alone for livelihood support when there is plenty of fertile soil.   The programme, chaired by P. Koza, DPO, DRDA, Dimapur, also Charge Officer for Seluophe SAGY programme, was attended by Dimapur DRDA Project Director, DPOs and BDO. Seluophe is a village adopted by MP Neiphiu Rio under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
