KOHIMA, JULY 22 (DIPR): Volunteers from Changtongya Town, Akhoya Village Council, Department of PWD (R&B), Changtongya & National Highways along with SDO (Civil), Changtongya, Chumlamo Humtsoe took the initiative in repairing the road from Changtongya to Dikhu bridge on July 17 and 18 under Changtongya Sub Division which has been neglected for many years.
As the road caused immense hardship and suffering to the travelers of Longleng, the volunteers repaired the road by filling the potholes and also cleared the drainage with the help of JCB Excavator and Town Council Truck. The SDO (C) expressed his gratitude to all the volunteers and well wishers who contributed generously toward the noble cause.
