W Honje Konyak and Thinuokhienuo Tseikhanuo have taken oath as chairman and member respectively of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).
Nagaland’s chief secretary J. Alam administered the "Oath of Secrecy" to them at a function held today at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Conference Hall.
Nagaland’s home commissioner Abhijit Sinha, IAS initiated the proceedings of the oath taking ceremony.
Later, Honje Konyak announced that he will give his best to streamline the NPSC and its smooth function.
He also assured to take up the matters of the pending cases once he assumes the office as chairman of NPSC.
