Zunheboto, October 16 (MExN): As part of Zunheboto Town Platinum Jubilee (ZTPJ), the organising committee has chalked out a series of events in its meeting held on October 7. The organizing committee has decided to organise a walkathon under the theme ‘Walk the talk’ on October 28 where Col. Keishan Debendra, Commandant 5 Assam Rifle has consented to flag off the rally. During the afternoon session, an inter school prepared speech competition will be held under the theme ‘My Vision Of Zunheboto Town By 2030’ where Krodi Rhetso Superintendent of Police, Zunheboto would be gracing the occasion as the guest of honour. The winner of the competition would be given an opportunity to present the speech on the opening day of the platinum jubilee celebration which is scheduled to be held on November13 and 14. The jubilee media cell in a press release informed that allotment of Stalls for Zunheboto Town Platinum Jubilee celebrations on November 13 and 14 is officially open for booking. Sale of alcohol and gambling stalls will not be allowed. Local artists wishing to perform on November 14, open air concert are also informed to submit their names as early as possible.
