Kohima, March 18 (MExN): The Western Angami Public Organization (WAPO) while congratulating the new People's Democratic Alliance government headed by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio hoped that the newly elected members will collectively make all endeavors to “usher in a new era” in making a better Nagaland. “At a time when the conscience of the Nagas seems to have been beset by a battle of inner conflict between spiritual willingness and fleshly weakness of the society, and the meaning of the truth itself is so much abused in the garb of defending the truth, we believe Naga society has not run out of hope and feel confident that the newly elected members would collectively make all out endeavor to usher in a new era and in making a better Nagaland,” stated a press statement from WAPO president, Lhouphrevilie Rino and general secretary, Keviphotsü Khwükha. “We wish them more success and pray for guidance of the Almighty God in their service to the people.”
