Kohima, October 30 (MExN): The Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO) stated in a press note that Naga Club, NSF and all the Nagas want to celebrate the centenary, “to rejoice together as one people that our struggle for our sacred aspirations started with the formation of the Naga Club. What Naga Club went on to achieve in the following years is history.”
WAPO President Lhouphrevilie Rino and General Secretary Keviphotsü Khwükha stated that the considered conclusion of WAPO after thorough study of all available verbal and media exchange documents is that what needs to be clarified has been clarified in response to the allegations and charges leveled to individuals that have caused the unfortunate controversy.
“We must now create the space needed to resolve the differences by giving sufficient time for consultation,” it stated. Further, it stated that WAPO at all levels in all regions will be celebrating the centenary.
