Winners of the 1st Tening Town Inter Ward Football Tournament.
TENING, SEPTEMBER 5 (MExN): Organised by the Tening Town Youth Organization, the closing ceremony of the 1st Inter Ward Football League Tournament was held at Tening local ground on September 4. The event was grace by Commissioner & Secretary (Retd), Benjamin Newmai as the special guest.
All the wards of Tening Town participated in the tournament. In the final match, Ward 3 defeated Ward 4 and lifted the championship trophy.
Benjamin Newmai speaking during the closing ceremony exhorted the gathering by saying that the tournament was organised with the objective to promote and to provide a platform for all the young football players in the area. He encouraged the players to focus on their skills and talents and bring entertainment to the people. President TTYYO, Kaibakam delivered the presidential address.
