Kohima, January 5 (MExN): A two-day long 75th years celebration of the Western Angami Students’ Union (WASU) will commence from January 6 at WAPO Ground, Sechü Zubza in Kohima district.
The celebration will take place under the theme ‘Restrengthening our foundation’ with Sechü (Zubza) Students’ Union as host. Mhiesizokho Zinyü, former president Angami Public Organization will be the introductory speaker on January 6 from 2:00 PM onwards.
The Introductory session will be led by Neidilhoutuo Sechü, co-convenor Central Organizing Committee. Local Organizing Committee convenor Viketouzo Meyase will deliver welcome address while WASU former president Rajuselie Lhousa will share “Reminiscence.” The session will be followed by extravaganza night at 5:00 PM.
This musical extravaganza will feature Dreamz Unlimited, Meneno Chücha, Kevikhono Mor, Zuchobeni Tungoe, Mengu Suokhrie, Ruokuovinuo Solo, Kedovito Peseyie, Kezhabou Kuosa and Rokovi Khawakhrie.
Meanwhile, MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, leader of NPF Legislature Party and Co-chairman UDA will be the special guest on January 7.
