The two Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) and the NSCN (IM) sat down across the table. According to a delayed report, the meeting happened on September 17, in Chümoukedima, subsequent to the meeting between NSCN (IM) and Political Affairs Committee of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
It was reportedly the fifth such meeting between the groups with conflicting stands on how to resolve the Naga political issue.
One side was reported to have suggested taking their differences to Delhi and arriving at a consensus to which the other disagreed.
While sitting down to dialogue implied progress in their relations, sources said that both camps could not reconcile differences as far as the Agreed Position and Framework Agreement was concerned.
