Leaders of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPGs) led by its Convenor, N Kitovi Zhimomi, today met Nagaland Governor, La Ganesan at Police Guest House, Chümoukedima.
Addressing media persons after the meeting, WC-NNPGs Co-Convenor, Isak Sumi said the members apprised the Governor on the ground realities and urged his office to impress upon the Government of India the urgency to announce solution and subsequent implementation of the agreement which is already in place.
He said formal talks have already concluded since October 31, 2019 and now the onus was with the GoI to give signal for inking the final agreement. This is the first meeting of the WC-NNPGs with the governor since he assumed office.
