WC NNPGs & NCD settle ‘misunderstanding’

A meeting between the WC, NNPGs and the NCD was held in Dimapur today. 
 

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 10 (MExN): The Working Committee of the 7 NNPGs and the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) met in Dimapur on November 10 reportedly in “the spirit of oneness.” A joint statement from the WC Co-ordinator, Alezo Venuh and NCD president, T Bangerloba Ao claimed that “owing to hectic political parleys, a communication gap developed which resulted in the mis-conception and misunderstanding between Public Action Committee (PAC), an organ of NCD and WC, NNPGs.” 

The statement however informed that “fruitful deliberation took place where the status of the Indo-Naga political talks was briefed to NCD councillors and also all issues were resolved amicably.” 

“Both sides prayed for an early inking of the Indo-Naga political agreement and pledged to work together in the interest of the Naga people and for the younger generation,” the statement added.
