CHUMOUKEDIMA, FEBRUARY 6 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) convened a Joint Consultative Meet with Chakhesang legislators, former legislators, Chakhesang public organisations and WCH elders on February 5 at the Conference Hall of Life Ministry Learning Centre, Naga United Village, under Chumoukedima district.
The programme commenced at 10:00 am with opening remarks by Yetshulhi Ngatsi, President, Western Chakhesang Hoho. This was followed by an invocation prayer pronounced by Samuel Therie.
According to the WCH, the central focus of the meeting was deliberation and interaction on pressing social issues and other matters of concern affecting the Chakhesang community.
The consultative meet was organised with the objective of fostering meaningful dialogue, collective reflection and shared responsibility among experienced leaders, public representatives and elders of the community. The WCH stated that the meeting was held at a time when the community is facing multiple challenges and evolving social concerns.
During the meet, emphasis was laid on the importance of unity, wisdom and guidance from senior leaders and public representatives in addressing issues confronting the community.
The Western Chakhesang Hoho expressed confidence that the insights, experiences and perspectives shared during the meeting would contribute towards constructive resolutions and the overall welfare and progress of the Chakhesang people, the organisation said.
