WC,NNPGs-Ravi meet in Dimapur

The Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) and the Government of India’s interlocutor for the Indo-Naga political dialogue, RN Ravi met today in Dimapur.

 According to WC, NNPGs sources, a 12-member delegation led by Convenor N Kitovi Zhimomi attended the meeting called by Interlocutor Ravi, who is also Nagaland Governor.  

The discussion today centred “on post agreement structure and implementation matters as per the Agreed Position and subsequent status paper,” said a source. The source said that Ravi wanted to clear things concerning WC, NNPGs’ preparedness with regard to “structure and strategy” for the transitional period post-solution.

“Realignment of revolutionary forces of all groups after Agreement” was also among the list of things discussed.

“WC, NNPGs clarified that all matters are work in progress and that further consultation with the tribal stakeholders in Nagaland (including the civil society organizations) and Nagas of Manipur, Arunachal and Assam)  would be continued in the near future.”
