KOHIMA, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Youth Organization (WCYO) held a reception program at Old NST station, Dimapur on October 3 to honour the Nagaland Tug of War Association (NTWA) team who won Silver Medal at the 36th Senior Men & Mixed Tug of War National Championship and 18th Senior Federation National Tug of War Championship 2023 held at Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
According to a press statement issued by Nagaland Team Manager & Media Coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho, NTWA President Dr Er Vekho Swuro, express his gratefulness on behalf of the Association to the WCYO for organizing such a welcoming program by honouring the Team Nagaland. He said Nagaland was participating for the first time and earning a Silver Medal was indeed a special moment for the Nagas.
Thanking all for the prayers, along with the moral and financial supports, Swuro said the achievement was made through joint efforts and added that he look forward to such amazing joint venture in the upcoming championships.
