Weapon display held for NCC cadets

Kohima, June 27 (MExN): 164 Infantry Battalion (TA) NAGA organised a weapon display for the cadets of 1 Nagaland (Girls) Battalion, National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Loyola Higher Secondary School, Zakhama on June 26.  

More than 500 cadets attending the camp were given an opportunity to experience the various types of weapons and equipments used by the Indian Army, informed a press release from Col C Konwer, PRO (Defence).  

It mentioned that the NAGA Terriers plays an important role in imparting training and motivation to the youth of Nagaland in joining the Army.    

The Annual Training Camp for NCC cadets is an opportunity for them to learn and enhance their experiences, the press release added.
