Weddings at DABA limited to parents and immediate siblings

Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) today notified all those who have wedding ceremony scheduled at DABA that “if the couple/families prefers the selected wedding date, only the solemnization is encouraged and only parents and immediate siblings of the bride and the groom can attend the ceremony in the best interest of all concerned or you can opt for another date and reschedule the given date to some other opportune time.”

DABA, Pastor, Rev I Wati in an official notice stated that “this notice comes in the wake of the pandemic situation we find ourselves in, and the church prayerfully leaves it to the concerned couples/families to choose any one of the options given above and make necessary correspondence with the church office.”

The church expressed regret for the inconvenience caused while adding that “for the safety of all of us, we prayerfully request all the members to understand and also request to act accordingly until further notice.”
