Pughoboto, March 15 (DIPR): Wednesday Bazaar was inaugurated in Pughoboto Town by the Director of Agriculture, Heilie Rupreo on March 15.
Rupreo dwelt on the importance of understanding the rates of the commodities in the market and also urged the villagers to exploit the agricultural potential of the area.
He further assured that the Department will try its best to provide assistance towards construction of marketing shed in Pughoboto.
The project was launched through the initiative of the district administrators headed by ADC Avelu Ruho to improve the local economy and empower womenfolk in the sub-division.
The function was attended by the SDO Civil Er. Namang Chang, EAC Ghathashi Sulanthung, EAC Selemla, members of the Pughoboto Adhoc Town Council, Sumi Totimi Hoho, DBs, GBs and other officials.
