VBDA Kohima after donating blood on the last day of blood donation camp in Kohima on June 19.

Kohima, June 19 (MExN): As part of the World Blood Donors Day, the Voluntary Blood Donors Association Kohima organized a weeklong blood donation camp from June 14 to 19.
It was jointly organized with Assam Rifles Nagaland chapter and supported by Blood Bank Naga Hospital Kohima.
This year has been a significant year because of the pandemic situation the demand for blood is higher comparing with the previous year, stated that Association. The blood donation camp was successful conducted as people have turn out in large number inspite of the current COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions.
Altogether, 31 voluntary blood donors turned up to donate during the week long donation camp.
Meanwhile, the Voluntary Blood Donors Association Kohima thanked all the donors, doctors, nurses, technical staff and media for their priceless devotion. “Your caring, passion and highlighting the fact will have huge impact on blood donation drive in our state,” it stated.
Further, the Association extended invitation to all those who are interested to enroll themselves as voluntary blood donors, adding that “your concern, participation and support will really encourage and will keep the voluntary donors momentum going.”
