When India and Myanmar attained their freedom, they played their own National Anthem, and we; the Nagas sang our own song of freedom. As first among equals, when there was Indian and Burmese (Myanmar) National Movement against the British, the Nagas had the Naga Club and the NNC.
Nagas are the sons and daughters of a Sovereign Nation whose blood has never been diluted by any foreign or Aryan race. For the Nagas, the status quo with India and Myanmar would be no other than “Independent Nagaland”. It is the bounden obligation of India to lend a helping hand to its patronized reactionary forces to enjoy the shower of 16 Points Agreement as demanded by the latter. To sustain peace within its Union is a sole responsibility of Indian Government so also it’s for the NSCN to solve the Indo-Naga Political problem without terrorist hindrances.
The Yehzabo of NSCN states, “Liberty that is without admonition is the truest freedom.” So, it’s time for NSCN to weigh the demands of IM group for Integration, i.e., the clause 13 of 16 Points Agreement and the demands of Khole-Kitovi group for renewal of the entire 16 Points Agreement. The response and wisdom of Indian leaders in solving the duo’s problem will be watched closely by the NSCN and the inability to solve such minor issues will belittle the Indian Government’s democratic criteria. The GOI should create a shadow cabinet out of these reactionary forces in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly as proposed by Inno. Neiphiu Rio’s JLF (Joint Legislative Forum) to re-edit 16 Points Agreement of 1963. Repetition of Shillong Accord-like will be to India’s disadvantage and distaste of the NSCN but wrap up the reactionary forces and its wolves from the old rag of Thungti Chang and RGN.
The FGN (Shingnye) is a Noklak product out of the by-product of Peace Camp Kohima and illegal offshoots of Adino Londoner. They’ve got their entire business with the Assam Rifles and dare not talk about the Naga National Issue and its struggle. Under no universal law can FGN (Shingnye) enter into a bilateral cease-fire or talks with Indian Government singly or alongside any group. As for the FNR, it’s a temporary podium and thus, it must not gather all kinds of rotten fishes in the name of “Naga Unity” and water them to rot the soul of the Indo-Naga-Myanmar Political patriots. The NSCN is silent but it is not deaf and numb.
I am not asking the Naga Prophets and Prophetess to declare the NSCN leaders as God’s Chosen ones as it was referred to Inno.Isak and Inno.Th.Muivah in early 1990s but can I ask them to pray to God to grant the NSCN leaders with a mustard seed-like faith so that we can move this mountain of Naga Sovereignty? The NSCN does not want the Naga Hoho, NMA,NSF or NPMHR to stand beside the NSCN and go to print-media to say, “talks is on the right direction or left direction” but we know our job and we’re doing it because it’s not only our profession but it’s our commitment. The Civil Societies and NGOs represents the social organ of the society related with status of mankind, the NSCN is a political organ of the Naga society representing Independent Nagaland. The liberty that the NSCN (GPRN) grants to the people does not guarantee the rights to foment “direct or indirect anti-Naga activities” and this is in accordance with Nagaland For Christ (Romans 13:1-6).
The NSCN (GPRN) has never objected to IM talks with India and the same treatment will be given to Khehoi Campers but this does not mean that NSCN has authorised them to surrender or betray the Naga Sovereignty. We know their business over 16 Points Agreement and our issue being Naga Sovereignty, nobody dare to mind our business.
