Dimapur, May 19 (MExN): The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), conducted a one-day Business Governance Workshop for women entrepreneurs in four districts of Nagaland from May 8 to 16.
The workshops were held in Meluri, Tseminyu, Wokha and Zunheboto as part of a district-wise initiative aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial capacity across the state.
According to the organisers, the sessions focused on the importance of documenting business compliances and provided practical knowledge on trade licensing, FSSAI certification, Udyam registration, financial literacy, skill development and various government schemes available to support entrepreneurial growth.
The initiative aimed to simplify regulatory processes and equip women entrepreneurs with the tools required to formalise and expand their businesses, they said.
The workshops witnessed participation from women entrepreneurs across the four districts, who actively engaged in the sessions, reflecting the growing momentum of women-led enterprises in the region.
