Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland organised a series of workshops across Dimapur, Niuland, and Peren districts.

DIMAPUR, JULY 16 (MExN): The Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland (WENN) has organised a series of workshops on ‘Regulatory Business Compliance and Documentation’ across Dimapur, Niuland, and Peren districts on July 10, 12, and 14 respectively.
Supported by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the initiative aimed at equipping women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge on regulatory compliance, documentation procedures, and financial literacy, WENN said in a statement.
“This initiative is part of WENN’s ongoing mission to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nagaland by nurturing informed, capable, and confident women entrepreneurs prepared to thrive in today’s competitive business environment,” it stated.
Resource persons included officials from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and entrepreneurs from Nagaland. The sessions, which witnessed active participation from women entrepreneurs, featured interactive learning modules, peer discussions, and experience-sharing, offering participants practical insights into operating within formal frameworks and accessing government support for business development.
Key topics covered during the workshops included trade license procedures, financial literacy for entrepreneurs, Udyam registration, FSSAI registration requirements, and government schemes for entrepreneurs.
WENN stated that the sessions simplified key legal and procedural requirements, empowering women entrepreneurs to navigate formal business structures with confidence. Besides capacity building, the workshops also served as platforms for networking and collaboration, fostering a sense of community among women-led enterprises across the three districts.
