Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): A delegation from the Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) paid a courtesy call on state Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Minister Jacob Zhimomi on November 1.
The delegation, led by its President Yetshulhi Ngatsi, discussed various issues pertaining to the welfare of the Chakhesang community in the Western Area and the larger Naga society.
According to a release, the WCH presented several pressing concerns affecting the community and sought the minister’s guidance and support.
Minister Zhimomi listened to the issues and offered suggestions for the community’s development and progress, it stated.
The minister also apprised the delegation of the significant challenges facing the Naga society and emphasised the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, echoing the values of peaceful coexistence that have been the hallmark of the Naga forefathers.
