Western Chakhesang Senior Citizen Fellowship cum picnic was held at Selouphe village on December 28.
Kohima, December 30 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Senior Citizen Fellowship cum picnic was held with former Executive Secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC), Rev Khrutsoyi Luruo as speaker at Selouphe village on December 28.
During the fellowship, Rev Khrutsoyi said, “Age old people may not grow physical but have to grow spiritual. Remember Him- before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the wall, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
Neizo Koza, Chairman, WCBCC brought greetings. The programme was chaired by Zunepranyo Kezo and Ngolie Thirah, the oldest man among the gathering pronounced the prayer of blessing. This was stated in a press release issued by Zunepranyo Kezo, Convenor, Organising Committee.
