Chümoukedima, November 17 (MExN): The Western Losami Welfare Union (WLWU) new building at Tenyiphe- E Khel, Chümoukedima was inaugurated by Zechete Mekrisuh, Chairman, Losami Village Council as the inaugural guest on November 16.
Kesowe Mekrisuh, Pastor Losami Baptist Church conducted act of dedicatory prayer and the inaugural guest unveiled the monolith of Inauguration. Mekrisuh in his speech congratulated the Union for its commitment to serve the welfare of the Losami people in general. He also encouraged the gathering to continue foster unity and to be a light bearer wherever you reside.
The programme was chaired by Neiwehi K Tara, Advisor WLWU with invocation by Wenyipe Swuro, presidential address by Wetsote Swuro President WLWU, special presentation by Western Losami welfare Union Choir.
Treasure report was delivered by Zeweko Mekrisuh, vote of thanks by Kekhwepe Mekrisuh, and benediction was pronounced by Wenyi, Pastor, Losatephe Baptist Church.
Short speeches were delivered by VDB Secretary Losami Village and representatives from Losami Union Kohima and Losatephe village council.
