We are living in a day when false gospels are proliferating; we see many false gospels around us. Now we are living in final Tribulation, during this later rain or the final harvest we should be very careful and must not mix with the false gospel from the true gospel. Matt. 24:24. “”For false Christ’s and false Prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders. So, as to deceive if possible even the elect.” (NKJV).
I. In our day we see many, many, many wrong gospels, like the Mel Gibson film, The passion of Christ and the Dan Brown’s Novel, the Da Vinci Code, Last supper are a great controversy with the true gospel. Many false gospels are found in the market place. We should never make the picture or represent or make any image God. We have to be aware if not we may be deceived.
2. A Muslim for example may wish to know how to live as a good Muslim. So he carefully consults the Koran book in which Muslims believe. It is written under authority that establishes the Islamic gospel the Muslim religion. On the other hand a Mormon has as his divine authority the Bible, plus the book of Mormon which is believed to be divinely inspired. It has become a shadow that lies over the Bible.
Similarly the Roman Catholics follows still another gospel. The authority that structures and determines their gospel begins with the Bible. The Apocrypha books are also a part of that authority as are the visions of Joan of Arc, the visions of Fatima and so called infallible utterance of the Pope’s are included and believed.
Likewise, the Charismatic gospel has its authority; they believe that the Bible is the word of God. But it also believes in divine revelation through visions, dreams, voices or tongues, which expands’ it authority beyond the Bible. Therefore it has its authority the Bible plus the messages presumably received by them (Read carefully Rev. 22: 18-19).
3. Salvation is God’s business but our duty is to obey his Commandments, it is a law book and a prophecy book is the Bible. We don’t want to listen to many scriptures passages, but we have to obey the Bible.
Everyday approximately 2,000.00 people die all over this Earth; we sometimes hear about an earthquake in which 50,000 were killed. Wonderfully the truth that hell is waiting for the human race is not the whole story. But woven into the fabric of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ like a golden thread running through the entire Bible is the message of hope. Men are accountable to God, We are all sinners but we can know the love of God by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. John 3: 16.1 2 Corinthians 5: 21,
4. In Luke 16 God gives us the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, no doubt the rich man had economic and political security and everything that goes along with it. If anyone appears to have no need for the message of the true gospel, it was the rich man. On the other hand, God talks about Lazarus, he had no political and economic security, and he was considered to be riffraff. We learn that both Lazarus and the rich man died. We find that Lazarus is resting forever in Abraham’s bosom. Whereas the rich man crying out in hell for eternal damnation. It is a picture of saved and unsaved.
5. Remember, Jesus said that he came to seek and save that which was lost. (Luke 19: 10) he has people in China, India, and America and in every nations of the world whom he has come to seek and save. We do not know who they are, but we know from the Bible that they are people who were already named in the Lamb’s book of life from before the foundation of the wor1d. (Eph. 1:4).
The central message of the true gospel is found in John 3: 16. Which tells both sides of God’s words; the two-edged sword that we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and spend eternity in Heaven or we do not believe and spent eternity in hell.
God is not a respecter of person. The Bible and in its entirety is the word of God. We have found that the beliefs of various churches around the globe are in many ways, opposed to the direct teaching of the Bible. There is no other authority but the Bible is the only one true gospel. Read the Bible carefully, pray to God for wisdom and open your spiritual eyes to understand the Biblical truth of “one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism”. Read the Bible, precepts after precepts, comparing scriptures with scriptures will come to the accurate final conclusion and Biblical truth. when we read the Bible we have to he very careful such as the word, every, all and so on.
